Club Open Day Sunday 28th June Our annual Open Day is coming up soon. We need a group of volunteers to help visitors out on the greens during the day and also indoor teams to take people from the reception desk to the greens, to help select woods and generally make sure things run smoothly. The day will run 10.00am to 4.00pm with the peak time around the middle of that period. If you can offer an hour or two of your time or even more, please let a member of the committee know or speak to Alison who is making a list of helpers. Also vitally important is spreading the word and if you know someone who would like to try out bowls, bring them along or let them know we are here and will be open for them to try the game for free.
Police Sport UK Championships - 17th and 18th June We are honoured to once again host this event next week. There will be no access to the greens for members on the Wednesday morning and afternoon or Thursday morning, however spectators are very welcome to come along and enjoy the matches. There will be teams from England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland competing, a great showcase for the Club.
Football World Cup - Watch at ECBC We are showing all of England's matches at this Summer's World Cup, so come along and watch with us in a great atmosphere!
Jack and Bowl Roadshow - Wed 17th June Mark Royal is bringing his shop back to the Club next Wednesday (to coincide with the PSUK Champs) As always, a great chance to get anything you might need for the rest of the season!
