On Saturday the 4th of March, 36 entrants took part in the above competition for the Steve Kerley trophy, bowling in 3 disciplines of 4 ends each, using 3 bowls.
1st discipline was a variation on the 4-3-2-1 scoring system.
2nd discipline was bowling at a fixed jack of Long, Medium & Short length.
3rd discipline a singles game.
The highest points winner was Ray Mitchell with 245 points. There was a 3-way tie for 2nd, 3rd and 4th place between: - Lin Martin, Spencer Dobkins and Mick Parrott, each with 200 points.
The semi-finals line up was: - Ray Mitchell vs Spencer Dobkins & Lin Martin vs Mick Parrott - Ray was the victor in his semi, whilst Lin and Mick's game went to an extra end, Mick running out the winner.
Congratulations to Mick, who overcame Ray in the final to lift the trophy.
