Club Open Day
We are opening our doors for anyone to give bowls a go on Saturday 7th August 10am - 4pm.
Free to all!
Food and Drink available all day.
Outdoor and Indoor play available - some come whatever the weather!
Coaching provided, including from Commonwealth Games Squad member and International player Edward Morris, 33, who is keen to host as many new faces as possible:
"Bowls has a stigma attached to it that it is only for the older generation and this simply isn't the case - this is a sport for all, young and old, men and women, all ranges of athleticism, we also have a number of wheelchairs available. I find that the huge majority of people who give bowls a go at any age absolutely love it and wonder why they never took it up earlier.
We have a vibrant junior section and members across ages so whatever your situation please come along and give it a go! We have all been stuck indoors for long periods of time over the past year, so this is a chance to get out, get active and try something new with absolutely no obligation or cost - you've got nothing to lose and I can assure you that you will not regret it!"
We welcome anyone to simply turn up on the day, however if you would like to put your name on the list it would greatly help to know rough numbers attending - just get in touch with Edward on 01702 338261 (ext 1) or by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
We look forward to seeing you for a great day!
Please have a look around the rest of our website for additional information and pictures of the Club.
If 7th August is not a convenient date for you but you'd still like to try out bowls, please just get in touch with Edward as above - we'd love to have you visit!
