It is with sadness we report the peaceful passing of long-time Full member of the Club, Charlie Raffaelli.
Charlie first joined the Club back in 2013 and has been a regular ever since.
In recent years, Charlie unfortunately developed Motor Neurone Disease, yet he managed to persevere and continue his bowls, ably assisted by his friends at the Club and his wife Sue, who we wish well at this difficult time.
Charlie’s Celebration of Life service will be at 3pm on Monday 5th January at Southend Crematorium – all are welcome, please wear bowls clothing or something pastel or bright. Following the service everyone will come back to Essex County Bowling Club where we will share happy memories of him. Any donations to the Motor Neurone Disease Association please.
