The final of the 2018 Men's Championship was played yesterday between David McCathie and Edward Morris. The game was close up to the 16th end with Edward ahead at 13-9. However at this point Edward stepped up to another gear running out winner at 22-9. Edward has now won this championship 6 times which makes him the most prolific winner since the club begun.
Two club teams competed in the final of the tournament run by Potters.
Teams consisting 4 players Ken Brown, Dave Horsley, Mike Kennedy, and John Brooks played against Ian Day, Steve Kerley, Ted Lilley, and Bernard George. After competing in several rounds, the quarter finals, and semi finals Ken’s team won in the end by two shots.
